Summer in North Friesland - that's enjoying the sun and sea in every free minute. And I enjoy every other free minute in my garden: reading a good book on the pallet sofa and reaping the fruits of my labor - fresh berries, cherries, plums, apricots, plums, cucumbers, tomatoes and whatever else my garden gives me. A glorious time! And accordingly, we also bake or conjure up a fridge cake on particularly hot days.
